我们课题组主要利用分子束外延和激光分子束外延方法在原子尺度上构筑精细的界面结构与异质超晶格,探索并研究其演生的新奇量子态和其产生的物理机制。我们主要关注的材料体系包括过渡金属化合物、二维材料以及它们构成的异质结。同时,我们研究新型的表征手段,尤其是表征界面量子态及激发行为的微观手段,以及探讨相应人工异质材料功能的调控和技术应用。
We focus on the advanced growth of delicate interfaces, heterostructures and superlattices at atomic scale, the exploration of emergent quantum states associated with these artificial materials, and understanding of the physics behind. The focusing materials include transition metal compound, two-dimensional materials and associated heterostructures. In addition, we develop new characterization techniques, especially these to probe interfacial quantum states and their excitations, as well as investigate the manipulation of the material functionalities and potential technological applications.
